Letters from Kabul
An Artist’s book.
Dutterer created the content of this small book—22 pages with 8 drawings—after a trip to Afghanistan in May of 2004. The drawings as well as notes for the text were created while there. He wrote the actual “Letters” shortly after returning home to give friends a picture of this fraught country. With recent events in Afghanistan, this seemed the appropriate time to give insight to others as well.
